Refund Policy
14 days, no questions asked. If Undebtor is not helping you, we would rather give the money back than keep it.
Last updated 26 September 2026
1.The policy
Ask within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it in full. No forms, no explanation required, no attempt to talk you out of it. One email is enough.
This applies to your first payment on a paid plan and to any renewal you did not intend. You do not need to have a reason, and you do not need to prove anything.
2.How to ask for one
- Email support@undebtor.com from the address on your account.
- Say which charge you mean. The date or the amount is plenty. If you want to tell us what went wrong you are very welcome to, but it is not a condition.
- We reply within 2 business days and process the refund straight away once we have.
The money goes back to the card or account you paid with. How quickly it appears depends on your bank, typically 5 to 10 business days.
3.Your statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, the law already gives you 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. We have deliberately set our own window to match it rather than asking you to waive it at checkout, which we could have done and chose not to.
So there is nothing to work out: whichever route you rely on, the answer within 14 days is the same. Your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page.
4.After the window
Past 14 days we do not refund as a matter of course, because you have had the use of the service. But ask anyway if something went wrong, like a charge you never meant to make, a renewal after you thought you had cancelled, a period where the app was broken for you. We would rather fix it than have you feel cheated over €7.
Lemon Squeezy, LLC, as merchant of record, also retains the right to issue a refund for up to 60 days after a purchase at their own discretion.
5.Cancelling is not the same as a refund
- Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for, then move to the free plan. Do it any time from your billing settings.
- A refund returns money already taken. If you want both, say so in the email and we will cancel and refund together.
- Cancelling does not delete your account or your data. Deleting your account is separate, in Settings → Delete account.
6.What happens to your data after a refund
Your account reverts to the free plan. Nothing is deleted. Debts beyond the free plan’s limit become read-only and are excluded from calculations rather than removed, so if you come back later everything is where you left it.
7.The free plan
The free plan costs nothing and needs no card, so there is nothing to refund. You can use it for as long as you like without ever paying.
8.Chargebacks
Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the refunded amount and takes weeks to resolve, whereas we can refund you the same day. We have never refused a refund inside the window and do not intend to start.
